Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: April 5, 2026
Welcome to the SMS Terms & Conditions for Roussos Law Group. These terms govern your use of our Short Message Service (SMS) messaging program. By subscribing to or participating in our SMS services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not enroll or opt in to receive messages.
Roussos Law Group is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparent communication. Our SMS services are designed to enhance client engagement while complying with all applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the CAN-SPAM Act.
- SMS Program Overview
Roussos Law Group offers SMS messaging to provide valuable information and services to our clients and subscribers. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from us.
- SMS Disclosure
This section outlines the key details of our SMS program to ensure you are fully informed about what to expect. We are committed to transparency and compliance with consumer protection laws.
- Types of Messages: You may receive the following types of messages from Roussos Law Group:
- 1-to-1 conversations between potential clients, clients, and employees.
- Appointment reminders and confirmations (for consultations, court dates, or meetings).
- Legal updates, tips, and educational content
- Survey requests or feedback invitations to improve our services. All messages will be related to our legal services and will be sent only with your prior consent.
- Texting Cadence: We aim to respect your time and inbox. This Text Messaging Service is for conversational person-to-person communication between you and our employees. We may send you an initial message providing details about the service. After that, the number of text messages you receive will vary depending on how you use our services and whether you take steps to generate more text messages from us (such as by sending a HELP request).
- You can expect to receive messages at a reasonable frequency, typically up to 4 messages per month. The exact number may vary based on your interactions with us (e.g., more frequent reminders if you have an upcoming appointment). We will not send excessive messages and will adjust based on your preferences.
- Message and Data Rates: We do not charge you for the messages you send and receive via this text message service. Standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. These rates are determined by your wireless provider, not by Roussos Law Group. For example, if you have a limited text plan, you may incur charges for incoming messages. Check with your mobile provider for details on any applicable fees.
- Privacy Policy: We value your privacy and handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For more information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please visit our Privacy Policy at https://rlgfl.com/pravacy-policy/ . By opting in, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to our Privacy Policy.
- HELP Information: If you need assistance or have questions about our SMS program, you can text “HELP” to the short code or phone number from which you received our messages. A representative from Roussos Law Group will respond promptly to provide support.
- Opt-Out Instructions: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To unsubscribe, simply reply “STOP” to any message you receive from us. Once you opt out:
- We will send a confirmation message to confirm your unsubscription.
- You will no longer receive messages from us, except for the confirmation message.
- Your phone number will be added to our do-not-contact list to ensure compliance. If you wish to re-subscribe, you can do so by following the opt-in instructions in our messages or on our website.
By participating in our SMS program, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided and that you consent to receive messages as described above.
- Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the rest of these Terms & Conditions. The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intent.
- Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions or your participation in Roussos Law Group’s SMS program (including but not limited to disputes regarding consent, messaging, or data use) shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in Tampa, Florida and the laws of the State of Florida shall govern. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. You and Roussos Law Group agree that arbitration is more efficient and cost-effective than court proceedings.
- Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Roussos Law Group agree that any arbitration or other dispute resolution proceeding under these Terms & Conditions shall be conducted solely on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, private attorney general action, or any other representative or collective proceeding against Roussos Law Group. If for any reason a dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you agree that the dispute will be resolved individually, without the right to seek or obtain a class-wide judgment. This waiver does not prevent you from seeking individual relief through arbitration.
